WHAT DOES IT DO?

AutoTether simplifies all of that: now you can enable and disable the hotspot feature on your mobile phone without ever taking your phone out of your pocket, purse, or briefcase!

WILL IT WORK WITH MY DEVICE?
This program works with tablets like the Nook Color, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Motorola Xoom, and Asus Transformer.

AutoTether is compatible with your phone's built-in tethering feature (accessible through Settings > Wireless & networks > Tethering & portable hotspot). Many popular ROMs have this feature, including the most recent versions of CyanogenMod. AutoTether also works with the latest experimental versions of the popular apps "Wireless Tether for Root Users" and "Barnacle Wifi Tether."

HOW DO I USE IT?
This app must be installed on both your mobile phone and your tablet, and Bluetooth must be enabled on both devices. To get started, set up the app as a SERVER on your mobile phone, and run it in CLIENT mode on your wifi-only device. Be sure to try out the two included homescreen widgets for even faster tethering.
